Kasol adventure and things to do in kasol

Kasol has recently become the new go-to place for holidaymakers, trekkers and tourists, especially in northern India. Located on the Parvati River in Himachal Pradesh, the tiny village offers a variety of activities and things to do in Kasol. From trekking, hiking, camping to stargazing and relaxing by the river, there is everything to experience in Kasol. The place is ideal for adventure seekers as it offers many options, especially for trekking, both for amateurs and professional trekkers. There are also numerous cafes where you can enjoy delicious food with a breathtaking view. Below is a comprehensive list of activities in Kasol.

Kheer Ganga (3050 metres) is at the far end of the Parvati Valley and is the last village on the trek to the Pin Valley via the Pin-Parvati Pass. The panorama of Kheerganga and the vast green landscape are a treat for the trekker's eyes and especially for his tired legs. It is a sacred place with a hot water spring, a small temple of Lord Shiva and a bathing pool. It is a rare combination for any trekker to bathe in hot spring water when everything is covered with snow.

Guest houses are available at all destinations. Because of the beauty of nature, trekkers can also camp on this tour.

The Parvati River flows through the Parvati Valley in Himachal Pradesh and is an indispensable part of this beautiful region. The thundering river originates from the Man Talai Glacier, flows north through the Parvati Valley and finally joins the Beas River near Kulu. Although the Parvati River is not really a place to visit, it is definitely one of the main attractions in Kasol. Since the river is too dangerous to do any adventurous activities, you can just sit on the rocks by the Parvati River and be mesmerised by the rumbling sounds and leave behind the noise of everyday life if not forever, at least for some time.

Pin Parvati Pass is a perfect destination for trekkers seeking a challenging adventure. It is one of the most beautiful trans- Himalayan treks that will not only mesmerise you with its beauty but also give you adrenaline rush with the challenges it has in shop for you.

With a mesmerising distance of about 110 km, the thrill is almost endless. The Pin Parvati Pass trekking trail is not very well signposted, but gets worse during the monsoon season. The trail through the dense forests of the Great Himalayan National Park is a great challenge even for experienced trekkers. Crossing the Parvati River and its various tributaries can be a bit torturous, as can traversing the high altitude crevasses. Regardless of the number of challenges, however, the Pin Parvati Pass Trek is exciting enough to make it one of the most sought-after Himalayan high altitude pass treks.
